California Sycamore
California sycamore (Patanus racemosa) is a native plane tree that can grow up to 100 ft. and can develop dividing trunks. It is a deceduos tree of rapid growth, It has several names. It shows large leaves with three or five lobes, golden redish in the fall, and mottled bark that can peel away. Flowersa re tiny and green, it also features balls containing seeds and a fluff than some animals use for nesting.
